I recently got a XTS 3000 and got it programmed, when received after turning on all that appears is the channel ID and a "OUT OF RANGE" message. Occasionally the out of range will disappear for a moment and pop up again. Accroding to the programmer all the programming is correct so i have been told that this is a bad RF Board, is this corrdct or something else?
Thanks

"Out Of Range" also appears on trunked radio displays when the programmed data is incorrect, such as when an agency rebands its channels but you haven't modified the radio's control channels to match the new setup. Was your programming person certain that what was programmed into you radio was currently valid data?

do you have any simplex channels in the radio to test with? First make shure the radio is functioning correctly simplex or on a simple repeater
