An "A" series cable can be converted to a "B" series cable in about 5 minutes. I've tried to post the mod here, but can't. Please e-mail me if you need this mod. GARY

I tried the mod, it didn't work with my cable when I tried to program a 6550. It did work with the one wire driver and the 7550. It's cheaper just to buy factory cables.

I haven't done the mod, as I only have a 6550. I figured I'd do it if & when I bought a 7550. So your "A" cable which used to program your 6550 no longer does since you did the mod? If so, please contact me so I can send you the mod, & tell me if that's the same mod you did. My friend who sent me the mod swears it works for him using the factory "A" cable. Thanks. GARY
