VHF CM300 for Amateur Radio usage

Post by kato56 »

Trying to program a 146-174 CM300 to 144, has anyone been successful doing this with Commercial CPS R05.16 (US). I've seen some older posts that appear to work, but for older non US versions of CPS/Radios.

Thanks

IIRC the modification was not in the software, but in the radio's codeplug similar to the Waris line. I know the Waris flashgrade tool comes with Commercial Series codeplugs.

I am using CPS 5.16 and by reading the threads on this forum I was able to program the cm300 below 146 mhz.
