CDM1250 No Audio on Transmit

CDM1250 No Audio on Transmit

I recently bought a used motorola cdm1250 from a buddy. When i brought it home i couldnt get it to transmit. I tried several different mic and it wouldnt transmit. I tried a desktop mic and it would transmit but could hear no audio coming from the cdm1250. Has anybody ever run into this problem?

My bet is the mic connector has been played with or damaged.
