I have 2 Nucleus 900 Mhz paging transmitters. One shows 927 as lower band limit and the second shows 929 lower limit. I am trying to get the 929
on 927. searching I have found no answer so far on how to do this. the procedure to shut off freq checking seems to not be there on my unit. I read the band limit parameter using a terminal and both showed same parameter 4 for 900 MHz. Is there a command I can set via the terminal to shut freq check off? I want to this use for Ham if I can solve this.
Note is there specific SCM software I need to accomplish this.
Help is appreciated
Thanks

Re: Nucleus band limits
I encountered this on a "spare" exciter/SCM combination I got. My original Nuke covered 927-941 but the other set of boards covered 929-941. I found that swapping the memory modules on the SCM got me the 927-941 MHz range but then I got a serial number mismatch since the exciter s/n didn't match. Whether it's a function of the firmware or some data bit in the code plug, I never investigated it further.

Yes I tried swapping memory modules and got similar results
one was ver 3.2 and other was 4.xx don't remember exact number
i am now going to clone 4.x chip and try it
