I have a UHF 4-channel HT-750 H25RDC9AA2 and am wondering how do I get scan when selecting my button options. I do not see it in the menu. I have a scan list built, scan enabled on all channels. Everything else seems to work good.
I am of course assuming this radio is capable of scan.
Thanks,
Mike

HT-750 UHF 4-CH scan toggle
Brian Griffin: Ah, if my memory serves me, this is the physics department.
Chris Griffin: That would explain all the gravity.
.
Lois: Peter, you're drunk again.
Peter: No, I'm just exhausted because I've been up all night drinking.

Re: HT-750 UHF 4-CH scan toggle
The side buttons are menu driven, each menu has more than one or two selectable options, and you may have to scroll to find the SCAN option for that button.
You can also select how your channels are assigned, once programmed, you may find you want two of your most used channels scanned first, you can rearrange the list to reflect that.
The orange button on top can also be programmed as a scan on/off button, or nuisance delete, not only for the 'emergency siren'.

I never could find scan in the drop down menu. I looked in both short and long press. I looked in both side and orange button menus.

- What radios do you own?: CDM's, CP's, CM's, and more
Re: HT-750 UHF 4-CH scan toggle
CPS --> Controls & Menus --> Conventional Buttons --> pick the Programmable Buttons tab --> Pick the button you want for Scan On/Off and in the drop down select Toggle System Scan On/Off for the short press. CPS will automatically assign Nuisance Delete to the long press. That's OK as Nuisance Delete only lasts until you turn the radio off.
In your scan list, always set <Selected> as the first entry. Then list your channels in whatever order you want them.
