Radius with Maxtrac head

Post by RadioGuru116 »

I have what I thought was a Maxtrac mobile. After trying to read the radio with numerous different versions of Maxtrac software with NO luck, I think I have a Radius with a Maxtrac head. Not actually knowing, and not sure if I have the right Radius mobile software, does anyone know what the software may be? I have R110 but not sure if thats Radius software. And of course its not working properly. Any info would be appreciated

That runs ONLY in REAL DOS. Will not work on a Windows OS computer.

FTFY.

Whilst I haven't the testicular fortitude to write a radio with it (...yet), I have a modern work station w/ DosBOX & a VirtualBox VM host that will allow me to work comfortably at my desk in a virtual machine and save data to the codeplugs, then pull it up on the network at the old panasonic and write it to the radio.
