CPS R06.04.00 CDM1550LS+ issues

I would like to start with a disclaimer that I am still fairly new to programming, but I have been doing it off and on for about 5 years.

I had a problem with reading a UHF CDM1550LS+ using 06.04.00. I was successful in reading a 1550LS+ VHF, and was also able to read it. When I attempt to read the U, i receive a message saying "Incompatible device"

Any ideas as to why i can read the V but not U?

Codeplug in the U is too new. You are using old software.

your software is 10 years old, update your software and you'll be able to read it no problem. And if you update your software you'll be able to download new firmware that will add new options to both radios and fix older problems.
