I have 6 pr400 that i am trying to program using 05.12 it tries to read throws error 2409 have no idea
what this is i have programed others with no problem using the same setup. any help is welcome.

You need a newer version of the CPS. Latest is 5.16, I believe.

your new radios are newer than your cps, update your cps and you should be fine. you're not using a usb to serial adaptor are you?
