MOTOTRBO wideband VHF antenna

Post by sjxts3000 »

Any reason why a MOTOTRBO PMAD4094A (non-GPS) wide-band 136-174 MHz antenna wouldn't work on an XTS 3000 VHF?

There are suspicions and rumors that the TRBO GPS/VHF antenna loses some of its VHF
capability due to the presence of the GPS function. But I don't know of any reason why
a non-GPS antenna would not work well on an XTS radio.

Thanks, Tom. That's what I am thinking. Same frequency range so one would assume same impedance?

I recently used this PMAD4094A antenna out in the field. Worked just fine.
