Astro Spectra cloning Q

Post by Anderegg »

If I have a fleet of trunked programmed Astro Spectras, is it possible to change the radio options such as scan lists, zones, names etc on one radio, and clone it to the others, or does that require a system key? The trunking system ID's and talkgroups will not be changed or modified in any way. I am just looking to save a few hours of typing!

Thanks!

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

you have to have a valid system key for each trunking system to use the cloning feature in CPS.
you can try dragging and dropping from one codeplug to another.

You mean copy the current zone/channel list, then open the next codeplug and past? I guess since all the personalities and such are the same in each radio this would work, but does CPS keep this in memory when you switch codeplugs?
