Can XTL-2500 be programmed for W series heads?

Can XTL-2500 be programmed for W series heads?

Can the XTL-2500 be programmed to accept the W series ( W4, W5, W7, W9 ) control heads
or is this only possible with the XTL-5000? I never tried it when I had one an am considering
possible purchase of a 2500.
