Programming issue

Im programming some MCS', XTS3ks and astro sabers, all cables are oem, the rib is a good known clone, when i go to read the radio it goes through the motions it shows programming on the radio and 2 seconds later the cps says comms with radio failed, any ideas?

You haven't provided enough information. What is your computer running? Are you using a real 9 pin serial port or a usb to serial adapter? Even if your rib is good, are you using a new battery for it?

its a db9 com port, has a bat in the rib and a 9v ps and have measured it, running windows xp and running mcs 2.03 i belive or whatever was the latest and the other cps is latest too
