Hey Guys, quick and easy question here.
Just picked up a used NDN4005B Motorola BMS Conditioner. Can someone give me a quick run down on what each of the three buttons do? (various shades of the lightning bolt).
Thanks,

Edit...You're a /\/\ dealer and you don't know
J/K
Anyway....
From memory, but I'll double check when I get to work in three hours. I need to run one of my betteries through ours at work (one reason I use a Jedi for ham stuff, the ability to use work acesories
)
The 1st is condition, three charge-discharge-charge cycles
The 2nd discharges, then charges
The 3rd does a charge-discharge-charge cycle....
I could probaby scan the manual this weekend and send them as JPEGs if you can't find a manual....

One more thing you may want to know.....Depending on how old the firmware version is, it may do only NiCD batteries and not NiMH. How do you tell? Look down through the leftmost battery adapter hole in the top of the unit at the firmware chip....it'll have a label on it that will give the firmware version and probably also say "NiCd" or "NiCD and NiMH".
Good to know, I hven't looked at the one at work so I never knew. We (and I) only use NiCads so far, but I'll check anyway. I know the price difference in Saber cups fro nicad and nicad/nimh are big....Al wrote:One more thing you may want to know.....Depending on how old the firmware version is, it may do only NiCD batteries and not NiMH. Re: Operation Questions for NDN4005B BMS Battery Analyzer
Hi, this post is a little old, however my boss asked me to find a manual for the NDN4005B Motorola Battery Maintenance System and i've been all over the internet and cannot seem to find one. Does anyone have a copy? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
