MTS2000 Mod ll MDC Display Decode

Why does my MTS2000 Mod II, display the MDC codes in scan mode, but not when it's just sitting on the channel (not in scan mode)?

Because you don't have the ID display properly configured

Okay, I kinda figured as much. I have looked in the CPS and not seen the error of my ways. Can someone give me a clue. Tnx
