MC3000 Remote Pin-Out Question

Post by KB9PXF »

We have several MC3000 remote units for our 800Mhz radio system and each unit has a CAT-5 cable that comes off the back of the unit and plugs into the back of a Headset adapter that's mounted to the bottom of our desks in dispatch. From there, we can plug in a dual 1/4" male plug and communicate thru the remote headsets. I'm trying to find the Pin-Out schematic for the CAT-5 cable, can anyone help or point me in the right direction? I'd be happy if anyone has a copy of it that they can scan and email to me directly. If so, can you email it to [email protected]. Any help would be most appreciated.

All the MC3000 units that I have seen go through a digital junction box called a J-Box. Then there is a cable from the DB25 connector that then goes to the radio. Each of the MC3000 units has it's own cat5 cable that runs to a port on the digital junction box. The wiring for all this is in the manual for the digital junction box. It is downloadable from the MOL site under the documentation section.

You can do a search for the L3208 or the l3239. It should provide you with the manual 6880309K29-C.

He's talking about the RJ45 that feeds the headset jack box, not the one that connects to the DJB
