Spectra control head conversion

Post by airboss16 »

I have a UHF Mid/Low power Spectra. It currently has the remote mount A7 Control head. I would like to convert it to HHCH. I have a 1054A A3 control head. I was hoping it would be as simple as a plug-n-play or even a software change. no such luck. What can I do to make this work?

You will need the A3 control cable connector plate for the front of the radio. They ARE wired differently....

Then you will need the A3 MLM and the A3 control cable. It has a place for the IGN cable.

There are some very cable pinout charts on Mike B's site.
