Reading Trbo Option board with CPS

Post by RRSM »

I recently tried to read an XPR6550 that apparently has trunking in it. (VHF) I can only see the analog channel zones after reading the radio, but I can not read the TG's, Digital channels, or the setup of the trunking system.

I know the radio has a trunking zone, it can be viewed on the radio's display, but I can not see it any of it on my screen after reading with CPS. I do see "Option board" and "Option board trunking" is enabled in other areas, though.

How can the trunking information (freq, TG's, CC, TS, etc.) be read on this radio?

Thank you

It depends on the type of trunking you're talking about, but either way you need the proper CPS. If it's Connect Plus (likely), then you'll need the Connect Plus Option Board CPS. If it's a Passport system (unlikely), you'll need the Scholer-Johnson software to read the trunking information.
