XTS/XTL Quick Call II Decode

Hello,
I need to throw a few tones A/B > A/C > Long Tone into my mobile and portable. I thought I succeeded and could just use the voice mute and now I go through the menu and on the channels I need it on it doesn't work.......I carry a radio during certain times like races and by my bed since my MV is a piece of junk at the moment. Anybody have any suggestion or have any success with closing the traffic on 1 select channel (voice mute) then opening once the unit decodes the quick call II (2-tone)

I have gone into the quickcall under conventional personality and enabled everything (call alert decode / incall user alert enabled)
