JT1000 R01.34

JT1000 R01.34

Just picked up a JT1000 and have a question. Everything I'm seeing on the web states it should be R03.00 or R03.02 so why is mine R01.34? I have a friend that has all the software to program it, I think. Is there anything special or does it require a different program than say a HT1000 or MT2000?

My VHF JT has the same R01.34 firmware in it. They're just older and I think the only thing it lacks (that the newer ones have) is QCII. I don't need it so it's not a problem for me but it uses the exact same RSS as the HT1000 (MT2000 uses a different package all together).

duh, i knew that. had a lot going on last night when i posted that(the MT2000 part) thanks. now i just have to get the software and setup my PC for it. seems the guy with the RSS has lost his RSS disk.
