UHF Voter link

Post by efc »

Hello,

Just curious about something.Got this set up:

UHF cm300,which will be linked to a VHF cm 300 which the VHF is a temp.tac receiver. What is the best way to couple the audio from the VHF to the UHF.using the RX and ground?Unbalnced in other words. Then a coupling transformer to the UHF radio?

Thanks
John

RX radio
Pin 11 Filtered Audio
Pin 8 PL/DPL& CSQ DET

Pins 7 and 8 Ground

Use a 2.2uF capacitor and a 1k resistor in series, plus side of the capacitor going to pin 2 on the TX radio.
Pin 3 on the TX radio from Pin 8 on the RX radio, PTT.

Wire both grounds on each radio to together.
