MT2000 and MTS2000 versions
Hello all. I have what maybe a stupid question... what were the latest versions of these radios, for example the HT 1000 was a DN. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: MT2000 and MTS2000 versions
The firmware revision # is what is commonly used for these (like R02.13). Not marked on the radio but read via RSS/CPS or the side button test mode.

Re: MT2000 and MTS2000 versions
MT2000 was 2.13 (anything about 2.11 will support narrowband splinter channels). Note that MT2000 firmware is stored in masked ROM and is NOT upgradeable without swapping the entire controller board.
MTS2000 was R08.73, (8.70 was the start of rebanding support). Any 512K MTS2000 CAN support a firmware upgrade via the Flashport process. Note that some early MTS2000 radios (those made before June 1993) appeared to have 256K masked ROM controllers (like the MT2000) and version numbers below 5.xx, these CANNOT be flash upgraded.
