XTL5000 mounting bracket - is it same as MCS2000?

XTL5000 mounting bracket - is it same as MCS2000?

Does an MCS2000 main body mounting bracket fit an XTL5000?

No - slightly different in the width and the XTL5000 being a little bit wider than an MCS2000.

The MCS2000 bracket or trunion as Motorola calls it will not carry a XTL5000 as far as i know.

Pity - thanks for letting me know. I was going to dig out a MCS2000 bracket but it looks like I will need to buy an XTL5000 bracket...although I guess I could saw the MCS2000 bracket in two and bolt on an extension piece!!!
