I haven't had to make any changes in this area in a long time and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

I am trying to set up another Astro ID number for use on a new conventional frequency. Right now the radio has 2 astro systems in conventional mode. One has ID 2331 and the other has ID 9544. I need to add another ID, which I did in the Astro Systems section for use on a different conventional channel.

The problem I am having is that when I go to conventional personality, in this case personality 231, and click the Astro tab, then the Astro system drop down box and choose 3, it reverts immediatley back to system 1. It does this with system 2 as well. All settings are identical between Astro systems 1 thru 3, but it will not let me change it.

Out of curiosity, I have tried changing it on numerous conventional personalities with the same results.

There are also 2 MDC systems in the profile, and I tried changing those to see if they worked and I ran into the same problem. I can create as many Astro systems as I want, but I can't choose any of them. The personalities that have Astro system 2 will not allow me to change those to anything else either.

Am I missing something?????

Update: I just tried this same thing with another radio and it works as normal. The only difference in the radios is the flashcode. I also noted that I cannot delete the original two systems, I can add as many as I want and delete those I added, but i can't delete 1 and 2.

If you have a FPP radio then system 1 defaults to the first 240 personalities and since you haven't posted a model number and flash code it would be tough to say if this is the issue.

You are absolutley correct, I didn't think about that. The radio in question is an FPP radio. That was the issue, I tried using personality 255 and it changed from 2 to 3 with no problem. I completley forgot about it being an FPP and reverting back to 1. Thank you very much Mike!!!!
