CDM1550 Out of Band

Post by 60EMT15 »

So i have a CDM1550 VHF in my personal vehicle. I have the codeplug when i first purchased the radio. I was doing some editing the other day and noticed the band split in the radio is 134-274. I opened the codeplug from when i first read the radio and it says 136-174. Any ideas on how it changed? Radio still works perfectly fine im just curious on how it changed.

My first guess is that you have changed software versions since the first time you read the radio. It probably is due to some low payed software grunt making a fat fingered entry when the software was updated.

I would expect that if you tried entering a frequency over 174, that it would barf it up.
