I bought a HT1250 LS+ off someone for 10 bucks because they put a standard HT1250 Codeplug for the same range and all into it and could not get it to receive. I have a friend with a subscription to the CPS and he lets me use it to program channels but all i hear is like a faint white noise always even if i open the squelch. the seller said he put a codeplug from a newer software into it and tried to program the new software in but programming the software was a failure.
The radio's orginal codeplug is for AAH25RDH9DP6AN Version number:R05.13.04 Range 403mhz-470mhz
The one the seller threw in was AAH25RDH9AA6AN of unknown Radio software I just know its higher.
If anyone can help i am even willing to ship it out to just keep the standard 128 channels version. I got told by the local seller they would not touch it at all even to redo the radio with its original codeplug.
Thanks
BlackJack

Re: HT1250 UHF LS+ issue
Very likely you have to retune the radio.
Reflashing to a different version wipes out all the softpot values.
Try running Radio Tuner on it.
You should use a proper service monitor and a battery eliminator to do so.

Re: HT1250 UHF LS+ issue
I do not know how to tune and i do not have the money to go out and buy more equipment to fix this. I have the tuning file on a cd from the guy but after a few hours of reading that i need a different tuner to change the serial number and i can not find it i am resorting to this.

Re: HT1250 UHF LS+ issue
Issue resolved it did not need tuning...I know it does need it period....It was not a Full Keypad Codeplug the guy used. I was able to get the right codeplug in it...all 128 conventional channels.
