MCS2000 S3

Post by Tait800 »

Would anyone happen to know whether a 403 - 470 mhz MCS 2000 could be stretched out to include 480mhz ?
I realize it would be outside its normal boundaries but if anyone has any info on the above i would be most grateful.

My R split MCS2000 Series2 (M01RHM9xxxxn) runs fine on up to 477.5Mhz. It puts out around 11-18w on 477Mhz when programmed to do so. I do think that anything ABOVE 480 might be a big ask.

Thanks very much for that, Tsunami.
Can you tell me please if that was done via the normal programming software or did you have to do something else to enable out of bounds programming ?
Would be very interested to know which version of the programming software you used ?
Thanks again for your reply.
Cheers,
