TRBO Question

Post by lunzac »

Can the TRBO radios (XPR 6500/6550) do passport when in analog mode? Do the 6500s and 6550s have several different sub models with different capabilities like the HT1250s did? If so are there only certain sub models that will do passport on analog?

Thanks

We use XPR6550's at our office on a UHF passport system with Scholer-Johnson passport boards installed. They seem to work well. You have to use the SJI software to program the passport board, you can not do it trough the trbo software, and I do no think you can mix passport and non-passport channels in the same zone.
