CDM 1550 LS+ Programming a call List
On my Call List I have 4 items two I want and two I don't. How can I delete MDC Call 01 and DTMF Call 1 from the list. I am just looking to shorten the list for the end users in my Department but can do it. Does anyone know how I can Accomplish this?

When you open a call window, there are some buttons along the bottom. The left and right arrows step you through your different calls. The green plus sign is for adding a new call. The red x will delete the call you are currently looking at.vamedic826 wrote:On my Call List I have 4 items two I want and two I don't. How can I delete MDC Call 01 and DTMF Call 1 from the list. When I open the Call Drop Down list I see MDC Call 01, Qwick Call (Where I have two groups programmed) & DTMF Call 1. When I open these the Arrows and the Green Plus is grayed out and does not allow me to add or Delete the MDC or DTMF but when I go to quick Call I can.

You can never delete all of the calls. There has to be 1 of each type that the radio can handle. That certainly doesn't mean that you have to use them anywhere, but they have to be there. Call 01 in each type (MDC, QC-II, and DTMF) can not be deleted. You can edit them if they are there.vamedic826 wrote:When I open the Call Drop Down list I see MDC Call 01, Qwick Call (Where I have two groups programmed) & DTMF Call 1. What is the model number of the radio? I have sample codeplugs for all of them here and can look closer if you like.

I am looking at sample codeplugs for that model. The green plus sign in all three calls is not grayed out. The red X is, of course, because it is the only call there.vamedic826 wrote:The MOdel # is M25RHF9DP6AN, Thanks

Yes I have the Green Plus is there but the Red X is not. I was just looking at deleting the MDC and DTMF so when we used P# as a shortcut for Sel Call for my guys to set off pagers it would only have the two I programmed in the list not all 4.

You can delete all but #01. You could edit it to be one of the ones you want and then delete two others.vamedic826 wrote:Yes I have the Green Plus is there but the Red X is not. You cannot delete the basic MDC and/or DTMF list. You must leave them there, even if they have no use to you.
What I have done is to just re-name them instead as "NULL". I think it's a poor feature.
