GM300 with no TX power

Post by skole »

Hello,
i've tryed to find the answer but seems to be that there is'n any current on the forum..

so,
i've got gm300 VHF with no tx...it is the 45W model and the power meter stays still but there is some RF out from BNC because i can hear it on my handheld, modulation is ok, nothing suspicious about that.
i've checked the PA board, even pluck out the final transistor and the exciting one and they seem to be ok.
i've also checked the pnp on heatsink inside the main case (current source for PA)

what / where else can i check?
