Information on Labels

Post by kaelanh »

Hi everyone, this is probably a really stupid question, but I am new to this. Can someone please tell me what these certain numbers mean on the sticker on this radio?Image I am looking for what the R02.01.UV2 represents. Is it possible to clone two radios when these numbers do not match on both radios? Thank you for your help!

That number should be the firmware in the radio. If your CPS has a "clone" function, you should be able to clone the radio from another one. GARY

Hi Gary,

What I am trying to do is clone from one radio to the other using a Motorola cloning cable connected from the master radio to the slave radio. Is this still possible?

While I have no experience with that particular radio, on other radios, the fw version didn't matter when cloning with a cable. GARY

Thank you Gary! I received my cloning cable for these the other day and they cloned without a problem. This forum is a great resource!
