Maratrac out-of-band programming

Post by Ckulp10 »

I have to maratrac's both uhf 450-470 Mhz and i am looking to program down to 440 mhz. I have followed the instructions on http://www.batlabs.com/maratrac.html to allow the rss to program out of band but it sill will not work. Can i get any pointers or ideas of how to do this. or some common problems in doing this.

The mod works as described. If the software won't take 440 frequencies after editing, you missed a bit somewhere or plugged the wrong value in. I have successfully taken one of those radios down to 440 and up to 490 for receive on a couple of 488 channels.

Is there anywhere you can get the software already done for uhf so we don't have to mess with the hex editor because I have 3 radios and I don't know anything about the file editing ? thanks mike ke3jp at ke3jp dot com
