Programming cable for APX 7000 - which one?

Post by screa34 »

Hi,

I see there are two cables that are supposed to work for programming the APX 7000. There is a Rev A and Rev B. How do I know which one to use? These are expensive cables and I don't want to buy the wrong one.

Thanks,
josh

You should get a RevB. The RevA hasn't been sold for about two years, and if you want to program the 2nd gen MotoTRBO radios or the APX4000 you will need the B. If anyone is still selling the RevA it's either used or old stock.
