Problems programming MTS2000

Post by mrnevitt »

I have a MTS2000 that I am trying to program using CPS R02.03.00. It will read the radio fine and looks like it is writing to the radio fine but when the radio reboots, nothing has changed. Nothing on the display and none of the frequencies (as far as I can tell).

A little more about the radio, on the back it has FLASHport sticker that has the following info on it:

FLASHcode: 23114810C0006
System Pkg: H38
Firmware: R05.30
Flash Size: 512K

Can anyone help me with this or at least tell me why it's not making it from the computer to the radio?

Thanks
MIke

IIRC the old pre 5.30 firmware is the problem.

Ok. How can I fix that. I only have the CPS and no way to upgrade the firmware.
