Inhibited radio problem

Post by Jayce »

I had to inhibit a XTS2500 radio a month ago. A couple of days ago I laid my hands on the radio and went to cancel the inhibit. The Radio Control Manager (PRNM Suite) went thru the motions but the radio never woke up. I put it in passive. Now every time I turn the radio on the RCM tries to un-inhibit the radio but it never wakes up. Does anyone have a cheat to make this radio work or am I stuck paying MOL to unlock the radio? I'm guessing I already know the answer but I had paying MOL for something I should be able to do.

Did you by some chance set the TX capability in the controller radio record to "No" after you inhibited the radio?
I did that once and it drove me nuts trying to figure out why we could un-inhibit a radio. Once I set the flag to yes the inhibit/uninhibit worked correctly.
