I am having a issue with 2 radios not tx or rx. I am using Windows Vista with gm300 v. R05.000.00 01-OCT-94
The programming is able to read the radio and save. I was just wondering if there might be an issue because I am using Windows and not straight DOS?

EXACTLY GM300/M120 only runs in DOS. You could brick the radios because under windows the GM300 s/w can not communicate directly to do the proper writing to the radio's codeplug.kwilsuzn wrote:I am having a issue with 2 radios not tx or rx. As Will has pointed out, this program was wrote to run under DOS. With all the threads on here telling people to run only these type of programs only under a pure DOS package, why do people still insist on still trying to run it inside a Windows operating system?
Besides, Vista is a disaster just asking to happen. Go back to Windows 98, or at least put Windows XP on that computer. Just remember that Microsoft is shutting of support to XP come April. So upgrade your computer now if it is to be the XP version.
