XPR7550 Series RF Adaptor????????????
$200 dollars is just ridiculous. Anyone know where I can get an aftermarket? What is this adaptor actually(Example: SMA to N male)? Can it be tested through the antenna port or does it have to be tested behind the cover above the battery?

There is no way to reliably extract RF from the antenna jack. The port on the back is not designed for mobile use with an external antenna. The jack is surface mounted to the PCB. And the RF adapter Motorola has is not an BNC

I still have an adapter for a Saber, to BNC. Similar to a 7550 w/o the center pin, but the thread is different. If it worked on the Saber, why can't someone make a similar adapter for a 7550? GARY

Because the RF jack on the 7550 doesn't utilize a ground
