Hey everyone. I have a question regarding the Kenwood TK 5210. What is the difference in the version # 1 and 2 ?

The main difference is the encryption, on the ver 1 it was software based (non FIPS IIRC) and ver 2 uses a hardware UCM. There was also a few other minor changes but don't know off the top of my head.

Thank you. Just wondering. Just bought a version 2 so making sure it's the current. I know they just made a G Version which basically has built in gps.
