PM1500 problem setting low power on a per channel basis

Post by cbroseinak »

PM1500 VHF conventional using 5 channels only. 4 channels set to high power and the 5th channel with "Low Power" selected for that channel. Low Power is set to 25watts and High Power @105watts in "Radio Wide" section of the programming. I am able to program a control head button to toggle high low power, but that is with a button punch. I realy need this particuilar channel to be 25watts when it is selected. I only programmed the control head once to toggle HIgh low power to see if it would actualy even do it after scratching my head (and swearing).

So I have the "Low Power" set to 25watts and on channel 5 have selected it as a low power channel, pretty sure I have the latest software for this brand new radio.

You made a new personality for the low power channel?

So I DID NOT have channels 1,2,3,4 and 5 set in the little drop down box's asociated with their respective frequencies in the page where you woulld actually enter the frequencies, tones/no tones, ect area of the CPS. So the special function I wanted slaved, i.e. Low Power and scan on a particuilar channel would not work.
