How much should i pay for an apx6500 in good condition (includes control head).

You would have to provide much more information. Model number, control head type, flashcode, remote or dash mount, etc.

Your talking about the ones that were on ebay. I would guestimate a couple thousand if they indeed do work. Maybe even $1500. They are no longer available though.

The ones on ebay both looked like they were water damaged, hope whoever purchased them did not pay that much for them!!!

I am not a expert and I could be wrong but looking at this picture

the connector looks like it is oxidized where the two mounting screws are located and the accessory connector looks stained. If you also look at the other pictures in this post the screw heads on the top of the radio all look like they are rusted or have something brown in them. There is no way to tell by the pictures alone... I think you should ask the seller if you are interested before buying, it just does not look right.

Another site has indicated the serials are coming up as taken from the rightful owner and police are investigating.

Thank you guys, i am glad you had this information. Last i want is to spent a whole bunch of money and have to turn in the radios and no money. I am very glad i did not buy them.
