XTS3000 Smartzone Affiliation Programming Issue

Hi all,

I'm trying to program a radio for 800mHz SmartZone use. The system is smartzone, and the radio supports H38 system package. I do have the correct, authorized system key file.

When I program the trunking information and set the coverage type to SmartZone, the Type II/IIi field throws an invalid. When I look, the affiliation type says automatic, but the field is still marked invalid. Why would this happen? I am not familiar with the other system coverage types besides disabled (SmartNet), but the same thing happens with these. I know for Smartzone it has to be automatic, so then why is it giving me an invalid field? I've run through the other settings but can't find anything that sticks out as wrong. Something has to be interfering...The codeplug came with the used radio, and I don't have a fresh one unfortunately.

I've programmed a couple of trunked radios before on various systems and never run into this. I am using CPS 5.03.00 (legit, bought from MOL). The radio information is: Firmware 07.71.07.00, DSP N08.03.05, Flashcode 500008-040000-7.

That is certainly a strange issue. Perhaps it's flagging it invalid because TX Inhibit is set for one of the switches or something like that?

I had thought of that too, but nothing is set to TxIN. I tried to import data from my XTS2500 (which works) into the codeplug. Everything that was applicable went in fine, but I still got the invalid automatic affiliation. There's literally no valid option when coverage is set to SmartZone. It seems to me like a codeplug error.
