Replace the LCD in the 05 head - no other way

I continue to find 05 control heads with darkened displays.
The perimeter of the display has a very thin border and
is quite bright, but the bulk of the display looks like a light
coat of flat black spray paint was applied.

No one has come up with a means of correcting the contrast
of that display. The only cure is to buy a new LCD for the 05
control head.

I recommend ESCOMM as a dependable and reasonable source
of replacement displays. I've recently bought several and will
buy more as I am certain that more dark heads will find their
way to me.
