Unknown Motorola part ID

Post by firedog359 »

Hello all, I am attempting to help someone identify an unknown piece of hardware. The printed number string on the back appears to be a Motorola part # but I can't find anything anywhere. The device is in a cast aluminum housing and has 6 large tunable slugs in a row with 4 medium sized slugs to the left and two small slugs over the top of the large ones and two RCA plugs underneath the medium slugs. The case has cast in surface mounting holes. The printed part # is HLE 4105A and the engraved # is 64D80270. This item is listed on ebay and is item # 161797851188. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a rcvr preselector / xmit multiplier filter for the Mitrek and SRA series Syntor.

And it's broken as seen in one of the photos. Not worth fifty bucks fer sure.
