MDC1200 System failing?

Post by tztop10 »

Hey there,
I have a current system which we are transferring to a new frequency and new repeater, on the old repeater the MDC comes over displaying the unit ID's, but the new repeater does not show the ID for everyone, is this a timing issue? If so is it on the repeater or the radio? How can this be fixed

You really need to supply some details.

Like what was the old repeater? What is the new repeater?

Was the new repeater frequency actually measured on a service monitor?

Has the user radios been put on a service monitor since the frequency was changed?

Has the deviation actually been measured, or was the repeater just dropped into place, assuming the deviation was correct?

What does the voice audio sound like on the new repeater compared to the old repeater?

By any chance is this a move from wide band to narrow band that is late being implemented?
