Serial data out of Spectra

Has anyone analyzed the data coming out of the rs232 port on the back of the Spectra, especialy the Astro Spectra, format, protocol, etc. This is the data you get whenever you press a button on the control head.

There is a copy of the protocol floating around the internet in PDF format. The protocol your looking for is SB9600 I believe. I do not know if the astro too uses this protocol.

Hey Alex

would you have a location for the info on the SB9600 protocol?
I tried searching the web with google but could't find it
I started to write some code to talk to an MCS2000 serially from the pc, a copy of the protocol would be usefull.

A link / copy would help loads.
