MAXTRAC REMOTE SCAN BUTTON???

WITH THE 16 PIN ACC. CAN YOU MAKE A REMOTE SCAN BUTTON? IF SO WHAT PIN WOULD YOU USE. I KNOW THAT I CAN GET IT TO STOP SCANNING BY USING THE OFF HOOK BUT I DO NOT WANT TO GO THAT ROUTE. THANKS FOR ANY HELP GIVEN

There is not anything on the accessory connector for this function. You mite try to add a wire from the button on the display board and hook it to pin 2 on the mic jack. some SP radios have an aux button wired to the pin 2. On some older radios had pins 1 and 2 wired for PB1 and PB2. Most of the newer radios have regulated 8 volts on pin 1 to run desk mics and DTMF mics. Pin 2 is still available.
