IN THE OTHER BATLAB SECTION THERE IS A MOD TO CHANGE THE INPUT AUDIO, A FREND OF MINE TELLS ME HE HAS PUT A SMALL MICA CAP FROM THE HOT SIDE OF THE MIC TO GROUND TO CHANGE THE AUDIO ON OTHER TYPES OF RADIOS,WILL THIS ALSO WORK ON THE MAXTRAC WITH THE MIC SYSTEM THAT "M" USES

Steve,
What are you tring to change?
There is a jumper to provide FLAT audio
to the transmitter, used for paging and QCII tones.
Ther was a capacitor change in the mic circuit to make the transmit audio a little "brighter" (so jap radios can hear better!).
