Hello everyone, have a new CV sport that I am eventually going to install two X9000 heads into, and was curious if anyone else out there ever ran into the same problem with NO room to mount anything??? I can get one head in between the arm rest and shifter with the loss of the cup holders (?), but two is going to be quite the task. I think that I am just going to cut a bracket and mount it to another that screws directly to the console. Figured I would ask to get other opinions or ideas!
Thanks!

Kinda tough with an LX Sport, console and all.
I have two Vics...a black on black leather 2000 LX Handling Package (32,388 miles). I have a custom built console with the following radios:
1) Motorola CDM1550 UHF (remote mount)
1) Motorola Syntor X9000 VHF 100 watt
1) Uniden 780XLT TrunkTracker Scanner
Vehicle Warning Systems in Millis, MA did all of the work. A+ shop!
My '95 Vic LX Handling Package (225,050 miles) has the following equipment mounted on the floor:
Motorola Spectra 9000 UHF 100 watts
Motorola Maratrac 99 ch VHF 110 watts
and a Relm MS200 scanner under the glove box.
I like the Sport and the Mercury Marauder, but I would not buy one with that console shifter because radios wouldn't look too hot in there!
