Greetings,
I am using the public service mike on my JT1000 and it works fine except the three buttons do not function although I have programmed the buttons on the radio with the RSS. I have picked thru the software and can not find a screen to program the buttons on the mike. Any advice on getting these buttons to work would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...Neil

BTW, this "three button" mic has a resistor matrix for the buttons. Two of the buttons have a series resistor and one is a short when pushed all on the same lead. Each button has a resistance in series like the control buttons on the R1225.
The one I have seen is in the same sealed housing as the HT1000 speaker mic with a eight pin RJ45 jack, but have'nt found a speaker in it.

Easy question to answer. IT wont, cant, does not, and never will. You have a rigged up mic that was never intended to go on a jt1000
or any other jedi for that matter. just because the cord for a jedi spk/mic has a modular end on it does not mean it will function correctly on any head just because it has a modular recepticle. The basic functions may but any beyond that, NO
Hope that clears up that one. Phrawg
