What radios do you own?: Motorola XTS3000

I HAVE A MDT 9100-11 AND IM TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW TO GET INTO THE SERVICE MENU.
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ON THE INTERNET FOR INFORMATION ON THE 9100-11, BUT HAVENT FOUND ANY WEB SITES THAT COULD HELP ME OUT.

Hello.

You will need a dongle, as well as the correct sequence, what are you trying to do?.

If you type the "ALT" key, then the "6" key, it should bring up a menu. That menu has some items that might help you. Not sure if thats what your looking for...

To put the 9100-11 into service mode you have to replaced two of the Eproms with service Eproms. These may be hard to come by sense motorola is going to stop supporting them. If all you are looking for is to Put the Transceiver into test mode you are in luck. Short pins 2-3 on the 9 pin com port and power unit on. You will enter in Moniter mode. To turn transmitter on with a 1200hz tone type TS <Enter>. To turn Off Transmitter and turn reciever on type TE <Enter> Which can be seen with a scope at test point 2 under the 3 finger door. To enter into the configuration mode. Type CX this will lead you into the configuration mode of the Firmware If you shorted the pins 2-3 on the com port you will not have to password to enter config mode. Any other Questions Just Email. This is what I do.
